One checkup, three evidence areas

Understand the whole
website foundation.

Each area explains what was tested, what was found, what needs review, and what to fix next. Read the complete scoring methodology.

Search visibility

Metadata, crawl access, page structure, links, schema, social previews, and trust signals from the live page.

Agent readiness

Readable HTML, sitemaps, crawler-policy evidence, and optional conventions such as llms.txt, Markdown, and named crawler declarations.

Website performance

Lighthouse lab performance, accessibility, best practices, SEO, and Core Web Vitals when field data is available.

Pro tips

Read the evidence before changing the website.

  1. Start with objective critical findings and keep review items separate.
  2. Preserve intentional controls such as canonical URLs, noindex pages, and crawler rules.
  3. Keep Lighthouse lab evidence separate from real-user CrUX data.
  4. Deploy the fix, inspect the live page, and run the same check again.
Common issues and solutions

Know when the tool has reached its limit.

The page cannot be fetched

Confirm the URL is public, uses HTTP or HTTPS, and is not protected by a login or private network.

Performance is unavailable

Search and agent evidence can remain valid when PageSpeed is missing, rate-limited, or times out. Retry that stage later.

A review item looks optional

That is intentional. Schema, sitemaps, and crawler declarations depend on page purpose and stronger evidence.

The score changed after a fix

Open the individual findings. A score is a summary, while the observed evidence explains what actually changed.

Frequently asked questions

What one public-page check can and cannot prove.

How is this different from the Free Website Audit?

The One Website Checkup is automated and shows evidence for one public URL in your browser without signup or email. The Free Website Audit is reviewed by a person across discoverable public pages and emailed within 48 hours after you provide your website and work email.

Do Review items lower the score?

No. Review items need context, human judgment, or stronger evidence, so they do not reduce the Search or Agent score. Unavailable items also carry no deduction. See the scoring methodology.

Does a high score guarantee rankings or AI citations?

No. The checkup reports observable website evidence and cannot promise rankings, traffic, leads, or inclusion in an AI answer.

Does the check cover the whole website?

It starts with the exact URL and selected supporting public files. A full crawl, analytics, and Search Console review can reveal evidence outside one page.

Do I need to create an account?

No. The checkup is available without a login or email gate.
